Fountains of Christ Ministry emerges from the Newlife Chaplaincy as a small group of Alliance High School alumni committed to supporting SDA students facing worship and fellowship challenges
Fountains of Christ Ministry (FoC) was birthed over 14 years ago as a result of the Newlife Chaplaincy Program, through a group of former students of Alliance High School who shared a deep burden for the spiritual welfare of students within the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) community.
At the time, many students faced challenges related to freedom of worship, spiritual nurture, and the difficult transition from high school to campus life – a period during which many young people struggled to maintain their faith without a supportive Christian community. In response, this group began visiting students regularly to encourage worship, provide mentorship, and nurture spiritual growth.
The initiative grew steadily and, following encouragement from the then Head of Newlife Chaplaincy, expanded to other schools under both the Newlife and Nairobi Central SDA Chaplaincy programs. These included Alliance Girls High School, Pangani Girls, Nairobi School, among others.
With the growing scope and impact of the work, the need for structure, accountability, and continuity became clear. The group formally organized and adopted the name Fountains of Christ Ministry (FoC)—a name that reflects the ministry’s core purpose: pointing souls to Christ as the true Fountain of Living Water.
Over the years, FoC has experienced significant growth, guided by Christ and strengthened through partnerships with Newlife SDA Church, other Adventist churches, and schools. The ministry has conducted impactful high school ministries across the country, including schools such as Segero, St. Hannah’s, Upper Hill, Hot Springs, Maranda, Buruburu, Ofafa Jericho, and many others.
Beyond school ministry, FoC officially embraced annual evangelistic missions, particularly targeting unentered and under-reached areas. The first mission was held in Rongo in 2013, and since then the ministry has successfully conducted 11 annual missions across Kenya.
Some notable milestones include:
2016 – Masinga Mission, which resulted in the planting of a church
2018 – Bondo Mission, hosted by Eld. Maxwell Ngala, leading to the birth of Abimbo SDA Church
Kasigau Mountains (Voi) mission outreach
Matunda Mission, on the border of Kakamega and Uasin Gishu counties
These efforts align with the Adventist calling to proclaim the Three Angels’ Messages and hasten the soon return of Christ.
Fountains of Christ Ministry (FoC) is a youth-driven, mission-centered Christian ministry committed to pointing lives to Christ, the Fountain of Living Waters. Rooted in biblical truth and grounded within the Seventh-day Adventist faith, FoC exists to nurture spiritual growth, strengthen fellowship, and advance evangelism through intentional outreach, missions, mentorship, and creative ministry.
What began as a simple burden to serve has, by God’s leading, grown into a vibrant ministry impacting schools, churches, and communities across Kenya and beyond.

Revelation 22:17 — Extending a universal invitation to all to freely receive the water of life through Christ.
