Have you ever felt lost, adrift, or like you’re searching for something more? At Fountains of Christ (FoC) Ministry, we believe that true fulfillment and lasting hope are found in one place: our Master, Jesus Christ, the ultimate Fountain of Living Waters.
For over 14 years, FoC Ministry has been a vibrant, youth-led movement dedicated to sharing this life-changing truth. What started as a small group of Alliance High School alumni, eager to support their SDA community and bridge the tricky transition from high school to campus life, has blossomed into a powerful force for evangelism and discipleship across Kenya.
From a Seed to a Spreading River
Our journey began with a simple desire: to give back. Recognizing the challenges young people faced in maintaining their faith, we started visiting schools, offering encouragement, nurturing spiritual growth, and building a supportive community. This “good seed” quickly germinated, spreading from Alliance High to other institutions like Alliance Girls, Pangani, and Nairobi School.
As our impact grew, so did our vision. We formalized our efforts, choosing the name “Fountains of Christ Ministry” – a name that perfectly encapsulates our mission to direct everyone to the inexhaustible source of life and light.
More Than Just a Ministry: A Family on Mission
Today, FoC is a diverse family spanning youth, campus students, young professionals. Together, we are “co-workers with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9), actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission.
What Does FoC Do? We’re Glad You Asked!
Our ministry is characterized by a dynamic blend of outreach and inreach, all rooted in biblical truth and a burning desire to hasten our Father’s soon return.
Evangelistic Campaigns (FoC Missions): Every year, we venture into unreached and under-reached areas, sounding the “loud cry.” Our hearts beat for souls, and we’ve witnessed incredible miracles, like the planting of Abimbo SDA Church in Bondo (2018) and another vibrant church in Masinga (2016).
School Ministry & Mentorship: We actively minister in high schools like Segero, St. Hannah’s, Maranda, and Buruburu, providing spiritual guidance, mentorship, and a safe space for young Adventists to grow.
Community Outreach: From Matatu ministry and hospital visits to literature evangelism and medical camps (in partnership with AMEN Ministry), we seek to meet practical needs while sharing the gospel.
Digital Evangelism: Recognizing the “necessities of the time” (Ellen G. White, Evangelism, p. 70), we leverage platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube (@focministry), TikTok, and even Spotify (featuring the inspiring FoC Choir!) to spread the message far and wide.
Inreach & Nurturing: We believe in nurturing our own! Through regular in-reach sessions, a supportive welfare committee, and spiritual nourishment via digital channels, we ensure our members are grounded, connected, and growing.
Our Unwavering Foundation
At our core, Fountains of Christ Ministry stands firmly on the 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our inspiration flows from:
Psalm 36:9: “For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
John 4:13–14: Jesus’ promise of living water that quenches eternal thirst.
Revelation 22:17: The open invitation for “whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
